How to burn Palo Santo

Hold one end over a flame for about 20–30 seconds, then gently blow it out. Let the wood smoulder and place it on a heat-safe dish to catch any ash. It may go out on its own; relight it if you’d like to use it again.

Burn in a well-ventilated space, away from curtains and other flammable items. Never leave it burning unattended, and let it cool completely before storing it.
